Welcome to CASP India
Sixty enthusiastic children recently embarked on an enriching four-day journey across the Saurashtra region, a trip generously funded by Mr. Ivan Dalsgaard of TdH Denmark. Organized by the CASP Gujarat Unit, the excursion was thoughtfully designed to weave together geographic, historical, architectural, and traditional insights with plenty of fun.
The adventure began in Dwarka, where the children experienced the serene morning Aarti at the revered Dwarkadhis temple, a moment made even more special by the presence of their guest, Mr. Ivan Dalsgaard. The wonders continued with visits to the captivating Bet Dwarka and the awe-inspiring Golden Dwarika. The young travelers also delighted in exploring the picturesque seashores and beaches near Dwarka, creating cherished memories by the water.
Moving on to Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, the children felt inspired by his legacy. They spent a meaningful time participating in a Prathana Sabha, absorbing the peaceful atmosphere of the place. The journey then took them to Jamnagar city, where they enjoyed the playful environment of the park at the Swaminarayan temple, delved into history at the Museum, explored the impressive Lakhota fort, and relaxed by the scenic Lakhota Lake.
Even the travel between destinations offered glimpses into the region’s landscape and industry, with the children marveling at the vast expanse of the Reliance Refinery and other industrial sites on their route towards Kutch.
Overall, the trip proved to be a truly memorable experience, brimming with valuable information, new knowledge, and joyful moments for all the participating children.
