A career police officer who retired as Director General of Police in Maharashtra.During his service, he was deputed to the Foreign Service and served in various diplomatic missions, and represented India in many negotiations. Later he served as Chief of Antinaxal Operations and with the Training and Special units. He has been awarded the Police Medal and the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service. His primary areas of interest are terrorism, national security, security of establishments, and issues related to children and senior citizens.

A Chartered Accountant by profession who also has a Ph.D. in law. He has won the prestigious “Ghamandi Prize” for acquiring knowledge in the field of law. He has been visiting faculty at Bruhan Maharashtra College of Commerce and ILS Law College, Pune. He has been specially awarded at the hands of Shri. Sharad Pawar in recognition of his commitment to professional services.

He joined India’s space efforts in 1962, working with Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and helping establish the Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station. His contributions led to a deputation at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Centre. He retired as Director of ISRO and remains on the satellite launch review committee. He received the Padma Shree in 1984 for his work on the SITE program, along with the Vikram Sarabhai Award and Bharat Jyot Award. He is also a member of the Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission of Maharashtra.

She is an economist and social activist who served in the Maharashtra Legislative Council (2002–2008) and Rajya Sabha (1984–1990). She chaired a committee for LPG consumer facilities, represented India at the 1989 Asian Women Parliamentarians Conference, and was Deputy Secretary General of the Asian Women Parliamentary Association. She won a Silver Medal for Acting in 'Sundar Mee Honar' (1961) and was on the Central Board of Film Censors (1992–1998). She has held key roles in Maharashtra’s legislature and social welfare initiatives and is currently a director and president of various organizations.

Executive Director

Ankita Choure is a strategist and equity advocate dedicated to improving health and education since 2012. With an MPH (Master of Public Health) and MSc in Public Policy & Management from institutions in India (University of Pune) and Scotland (University of Glasgow), she focuses on uplifting marginalized communities through sustainable initiatives. As the Executive Director of CASP, she leads programs in public health, education, WASH, vocational training, youth development, and women’s empowerment across CASP Offices in India and associated communities. She has worked with WHO on non-communicable disease programs and played a key role in national health campaigns. Passionate about social justice, Ankita champions policy-driven, community-led solutions for sustainable social impact projects
