Health Camp

An annual health camp was organized by the Gujarat Unit in the villages of Rapar and Bhachau Block. Children from four schools and anganwadis were selected for this activity. Dr Chiranjivsinh Vaghela volunteered to conduct health check-ups for 590 sponsored children, their siblings, and children from schools and also checked 75 family members of sponsored children who were included under the school support project. Doctors observed iron deficiencies, piles, poor personal hygiene and vitamin A deficiency, especially among girls. A follow-up check-up from a specialized doctor has been recommended in the next few months.
